Toho International has many divisions which have various products and clients not only in Japan but also clients abroad. In order to increase the customer satisfaction, we exchange information beyond our divisions to not only in the import division but also to the export division. This is our goal, to strengthen our mutual relationship between our clients which leads to Customer Satisfaction. We also have many events and activities so that we can further increase our partnerships and friendships between our company and our clients. Here is a list of our activities and events.

• Strong participation for various events and exhibitions which are held all over the world.
• Company excursions, Cherry blossom parties, and watching sports games. These are cultural activities.

  The 3rd exhibition was held in Mumbai for three days. Its scale was bigger than 2 years ago and many of our suppliers in the U.S. and Europe also participated. Since India has a lot of potential, we expect a much more exciting show 2 years from now based on latest big growth in India.

  The memorable 50th celebration of Copper and Copper Alloy Technical Research Symposium was held at Takanawa Campus of Tokai University on the 5th of November, 2010. Thanks to the universities' prestigious professors and valuable members of staff, Toho International Inc. was allowed to use a classroom to exhibit state-of-art imported products Toho represent us here in Japan. Toho participants had a chance to meet with existing customers and also acquaint themselves with new customers. Toho would like to express special thanks to all those who gave us the opportunity of this special occasion, additionally Toho would like to welcome the opportunity to contribute to helping technical improvements in this field by participating in such symposiums in the future.

  We held a gathering to get to know the prospective employees who will join our company from next April on October 1st. At first they seemed to be nervous, but we opened up with each other gradually. Finally they could relax and enjoy talking with us.

  9/21-24 - Visiting Wire and Tube China 2010

  From September 21st to 24th, Wire and Tube China 2010, touted as the world's second largest and Asia's largest exhibition, was successfully held at Shanghai New International Expo Center. 5 staff attended the show from TOHO and we visited supplier booths as well as other booths together with our Japanese customers. Shanghai seemed to be full of life and was very hectic. This could be due to the growing economy in China and that the Expo is being held at Shanghai now.

  9/11-12 - Company Trip

  This year’s company trip we went to Mie prefecture. We had a great time in Nagashima Spaland, Nabana no Sato. After that, we were really satisfied with a wonderful dinner in Hanamizuki. The next day we went sightseeing to Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology in Nagoya. In the museum, there were many displays which showed the inside mechanisms of the cars. They were really interesting and informative because we deal with wires which are processed to essential parts of automobiles.

  4/12-16 - Wire Dusseldorf 2010 - Toho Tour

  We visited "Wire-2010" exhibition which was held in Dusseldorf, Germany.

  • We organized our original "TOHO-tour" which makes it our 12th year.
  • 26 of our overseas suppliers participated their original products and we could have valuable discussions/sessions during the exhibition.
  • Due to Icelandic volcano ash, we got to stay a few more days but could come back to Japan by Deutsche Lufthansa AG first flight after the airport was re-opened.

  We have three new employees (two men and one woman) and held an initiation ceremony on April 1st. They seemed to be getting nervous while they were listening to the president´s welcoming speech. But we hope they will have expectations of beginning a new life as a member of the society.

  Our Export Dept held a product knowledge training in office on the 17th of Feb, 2010. We regularly have various training programs to improve our customer satisfaction.

  We had a party to celebrate our 22nd anniversary of our founding day. Two employees received an award as long-service employees.Three prospect employees who will enter TOHO in coming April also joined the party. They had a good chance to become closer to senior co-workers.

  We visited the stainless steel fair from the 16th to 19th Jan. 2010 which was held for the first time in India. Over 500 companies such as stainless raw material manufacturers, the manufacturers of stainless tube, wire, strip and various processors participated and it was very well attended.
